Welcome to the Woods, Kirk Jordan's blog spot created (initially) for the task of storing links ---and now morphing into a site for cultural review.
As a student of the arts, applied thought, and life in the Holy Ghost, my goal is to highlight those whose creative works enrich my life ---and to create a map of places I've been and savored. Some of these sites represent places of general agreement, while other sites link to those who challenge my thinking.
There were no birds, no insects, no animals, and no wind. You could almost feel the trees growing. The pool he had just gotten out of was not the only pool. There were dozens of others--a pool every few yards as far as his eyes could reach. You could almost feel the trees drinking the water up with their roots....
Why, if we can get to our own world by jumping into this pool, mightn't we get somewhere else by jumping into one of the others? Supposing that there was world at the bottom of every pool!
